Leading the innovative culinary team is Chef Bryant Wigger - an 20-year culinary veteran, originally from the surrounding Kansas City, Missouri area.
With a degree in Culinary Science from Orange Coast College, Bryant launched his career at The Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California. Moving through the Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts’ culinary programs at the Four Seasons Aviara, Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills, and at WildCraft in Culver City, California, Bryant developed distinct flavor combinations that celebrated authentic, regional cuisine.
Tavernonna and Hotel Phillips guests are welcomed with Chef Bryant's honest approach to Italian cooking - honoring Italy’s rich culinary history - utilizing simple ingredients to create traditional and contemporary dishes that seduce the senses, and build relationships with local purveyors to utilize locally grown, seasonal produce as much as possible.
